Jinyu waterproof membrane of elastomer (SBS) modified asphalt is a kind of windable sheet waterproof material, which adopts styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modified asphalt as a dipping and covering modifier, whose upper surface is coated by PE film, fine sand, mineral granules or aluminum foil, copper foils or other isolating materials.

Application Range

Construction Points
Construction methodshot melt, cold and hot adhering methods could be adopted to adhere sheets and substrates, or different sheets. While constructed with hot melt method, the thickness of membrane must be over 3mm; If constructed with cold adhering method, the thickness of cold adhesive must be 0.5~1mm.
Matching materialsmainly includes Yuhong brand BPS-201 substrate curing agent, BAC-211 rubber-asphalt adhesive (cold adhering method), BCW-251 rubber-asphalt coating, BSR-242 asphalt membrane sealant, metal battens and bolts.
Substrate preparationwaterproofing substrates shall be flat, solid, and be dried sufficiently. Detail structures shall meet requirements of related stipulations and designs.
Waterproofing layerthere are two kinds of structures of laminated and single layers, for laminated layers, thickness of each layer shall be not lower than 3mm, with complete adhesion between each other; For single layer, thickness of the single layer shall not be lower than 4mm.
Overlappingoverlapping between sheets shall be completely adhered, with 80-100mm width of jointed area.
Vertical surface endsfasten with metal battens and bolts, coat special sealant in all edges.
Protection isolation layer constructionprotection isolation layer shall be set on the exterior surface of waterproof layers according to related stipulations and designs, if use shale sheets or mineral grain coating surfaces as exposed waterproof layers, additional protective layer could be omitted; Isolation layers shall be set between waterproof layers and rigid protective layers.
Attentions for Construction
Construction shall not be carried out in rain, snow or over 5 degree wind weather;
There shall be sufficient safety protective facilities in construction site, place firefighting devices according to stipulations.
